Counting

Have you ever had one of those days when you just think of dumb stuff.  I do. (Many Times).

One of these things that popped into my head, was numbers.  Most of us can count to twenty, quite easily, by ones.  1,2,3,4,etc   Heck we can even do this backward.  20,19,18, etc   Then we get bored so we count by even numbers.  2,4,6,8, etc.  This we can do pretty well backward on this too.  20,18,16, etc.  We can even count by 5’s.  5,10,15,20.   Simple

But let’s make it a little tougher. Try counting to twenty by odd numbers. 1,3,5, etc,  A little more difficult, isn’t it?  Counting backward also is difficult

Now lets make it more challenging.  Let’s count by Roman Numerals. I, II, III etc.

Got that down. Now try counting backwards.  XX, XIX, (here come a tripper) is XIIX  or XVIII.

If you said  XVII then you are right

Ready for our next move?  Roman Numerals by even numbers.  II, IV, etc.  Now count backwards by even numbers.

Finally a real test Count by Odd Roman Numerals.
