NFL CONFIDENCE PICKS WEEK 4 NFL 09/30-10-03-06/2021

What a terrible week I had.

QUESTION OF THIS WEEK:  Do the coaches at New England know enough about Brady to stop him?

49’ERS: QB: Jimmy Garappolo, (calf, pain traveled down calf to Achilles Heel), may miss 2 weeks.

BEARS:  QB:  Andy Dalton, (knee), questionable.  Who will star at QB:  game time decision.  QB: Justin Fields projected starter Sunday.

BRONCOS:  QB:Teddy Bridgewater suffered a concussion in Sunday’s 23-7 loss to the RAVENS.

BUCCANEERS: Sign CB: Richard Sherman to 1 year contract.    WR: Antonio Brown activated from COVID-19 list.  TE: Rob Gronkowsky, (ribs), questionable against Patriots.  DE: Jason Pierre-Paul, out.  CB: Carlton Davis, (rib/abdomen), questionable.  TE: Rob Gronkowsky injury more serious than first thought.  Actually  has four cracked ribs, one broken rib and a punctured lung.  Uknown when he will return.  BRADY. Breaks, Brees record and now is the ALL TIME PASSING LEADER.  80.359 yards and games to play.

CARDINALS: End 8 game losing streak to RAMS.

COLTS:  Will be have 5 starters not making the trip to Miami. LG: Quenton Nelson (ankle).  Nelson’s;  (a 3 time All-Pro) miss will end his 51 straight starts RT: Braden Smith (foot/thumb).  CB: Rock Ya-Sin (ankle).  S: Khari Willis (groin).  Also DE: Kwity Paye (hamstring).

CHARGERS: LB: Kenneth Murray (ankle), questionable.

CHIEFS: DE: Frank Clark, (hamstring). and CB: Chevarius Ward (quad), out.  HC: Andy Reid becomes the 1st HC; to win 100 games with 2 different teams, (including playoffs).  Reid’s 100th win with the Chiefs came against the EAGLES, which just happens to be the team he led to 140 wins.

EAGLES: All-Pro RB, LeSean McCoy signs 1 day contract to retire as an Eagle.   RT: Lane Johnson inactive this week, (personal matter)

GIANTS: WR: John Ross, activated from IR.

PACKERS: Za Darius Smith, (back surgery), out for an extended number of games  CB: Jaire Alexander is suffered an AC joint injury in his right shoulder.  Status unknown at this time.

PATRIOTS: WR: K’Neal Harry, off injured list.  Expected to make 1st appearance of season Sunday.  RB:  James White (hip), placed on IR.

RAIDERS: RB: Josh Jacobs,  questionable for Monday night.

RAVENS: QB: Lamar Jackson expected to return Sunday.  RB: LeVeon Bell Activated from practice squad.  Tie record 43 consecutive games with 100 rushing yards or more.(The devious Ravens with 3 seconds left, and game in hand, instead of taking a knee ran one more play picking up the 5 yards needed to extend the streak).  I can’t say as I blame them.  With a tie this game, it gives them the chance to set a new record next week.

SAINTS:  Looking forward to playing in New Orleans this week.  OL:

SEAHAWKS: QB: Russell Wilson threw his 274th TD, Sunday.  Moving him ahead of Joe Montana on the All Time TD passes record book.  Placing him 18th on he list.  Wilson now has a chance to pass Vinny Testaverde this Sunday.   WR: Dee Eskridge (concussion) expected to return Sunday.  LB: Benson Mayowa, out.  RB: Rashaad Penny placed on IR.

STEELERS: WR: Chase Claypool,  (hamstring), out this week.  QB: Ben Roethlisberger, completed his 400th TD pass.   He is one of only 8 QBs to accomplish this feat.  Among active players, he is behind Aaron Rodgers, and all time leader Tom Brady.

TITANS:  WR:  Julio Jones, (hamstring), and  A.J. Jones (hamstring) could miss game this week.

For those of you who are new here. This is  how confidence ranking goes, let me explain.

If we were playing an office pool,(which we ARENOT).  The object is to score the most points. To obtain the score YOU rank the teams by how confident you are a team will win its game.  EXAMPLE:  Say this week we have 16 games.  The team you are most confident will win you would assign the number 16 and follow down to the team you are least confident in and assign that number 1.   You add up the TOTAL CORRECT PICKS.. That would be your score.  We use the Monday night (Last game played) as a TIE BREAKER.  The tie is broken by the closest to the total (that is the COMBINED score of the two participating teams) final score, without going over.

YOU can adopt the scoring  described above.  Or, the optional method.  A  negative score for missed games.  We will continue to get a positive score for correct predictions.  EXAMPLE:   if you scored     1 pt on the first game and you had 15 pts on the second game and lost you would still have  1 pt.

1.  HOWEVER. with the same scenario new scoring system would result with a –14 score

If we were playing this is how my sheet would look;  My pick will be in bold Capital letters.  you can use circling, underlining, or highlighting.  I will show my correct points in Bold

I will fill in my picks Thursday.  Until then feel free to:

Just copy and paste for your own Fun Pool Use.  Or to see if you can beat me.

IF YOU SEE I MADE A MIS-COPY OF THE GAMES AND TIMES FEEL  FREE TO EMAIL ME AND TELL ME I GOOFED.
