NFL Confidence Picks Week 12 11/21–25/2013
Not a bad week 100 points of 120. Houston let me down or Oakland had a really good game. Wasn’t broadcast in my area. But on the upside I was only off 2 points . I really would like to know what was going on in the mind (assuming he was using it), Indianapolis Colt’s linebacker, Erik Walden, Using his HELMET to head butt another player without his helmet. Perhaps, he was thinking, I really would like to have next week off. Expensive, week off, but it worked. What I think they forgot was to have all the Titans give him a helmeted head butt to his unhelmeted head. After all let the punishment fit the crime. Enough basking in last weeks glory. NFL Confidence Picks Week 11 11/14–18/2013
A really tough week. Nothing to be proud of here, except the effort. Both, by the teams which pulled off MAJOR and MINOR upsets; and by myself, for enduring the pain of my worst week ever. This week we saw two team, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers; win there first games of the year. Sure they were bound to win at least one game this year. BUT, with both winning the same week……well that just puts a really big hole in one’s confidence score. As for the COLTS loss; that was a possibility I had considered, without Reggie Wayne, there is a gaping hole in the offense. I felt the Colts team would be able to plug that hole this week. I think they have the crew to do that; it will only take more than one game. Maybe this week or next they will have plugged the hole sufficiently to be a contender again. BUT, (there is always that but), if you happened to overlook the RAMS’ defense the last two or three weeks, THEY just keep getting better and better.
