NFL Confidence Picks Week 14 12/05 To 12/09/2013

Last week was a so-so week for me.  I’d bet many of you beat me.

Before I get to my picks I would like to point out an article I read in USA Today.  Talking about what a surprise Seattle QB Russell Wilson  is.  If I may direct you to my post of January, 13,2012.   http://fromthemiddleblog.com/2012/01/13/   In this post you will notice I had Wilson as a top 3 QB, and the type of team all 3 would be ideal for.  Unfortunately for one of the three was thrown into the fire pre-maturely.  Read the post and see who.

In a follow up article I stated that if the COLTS chose Andrew they would have to release most of the starters and build around him.  (I Believe they did this)

Here are my picks.  I must say the San Francisco-Seattle match up is a poser for me.  My Mind says one thing and the math says another.  So I will remain true to my method and go with the numbers (reluctantly).

The Atlanta -Green Bay game, mathematically speaking came up a draw.  So in case of a draw i go with the home team; that 12th man thing, and the fact that home teams seem to get a break on the calls.

IT APPEARS WE HAD A RECORD BREAKING SUNDAY.  90 TOUCHDOWNS  (OR SO I AM TOLD) ; AND A RECORD SETTING 64 YARD FIELD GOAL.  BY DENVER BRONCHOS MATT PRATER.   WOW! What a Sunday

And of course i missed the kind of games i enjoy  watching most. a good old snowy field. I could have watched the Detroit vs Philadelphia game.  Had I been home.  But family obligations took me away.  And of course not a TV anywhere.  I know many of the players enjoy these games too.  They tell me it is like being a kid again, playing in the snow.  Therefore we have a fun game for player and fan.
